Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field and 2–3 years related experience or training.
• Familiar with material specifications and their applications.
• Working knowledge of PCs and related software, specifically MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and statistical software (Minitab).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management and ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with cross-functional Change Management team to define the scope of work required to qualify new or modified products to customer specifications related to source changes.
• Coordinating with ISC, Operations, and Engineering to manufacture batches of material for source change qualifications.
• Writing test panel fabrication instruction paperwork for laminates, sandwich panels, or any other material forms required for testing.
• Reviewing testing progress and updating expected completion dates, elevating any lack of priority to management for resolution in order to complete testing on time.
• Maintaining complete traceability of all elements of a qualification project.
• Authoring complex engineering test reports.
• Interfacing directly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide status updates, resolution of any conflicts, and facilitating reviews of reports.
