Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role leads technical project execution for complex field-based work with a strong focus on safety, coordination, and disciplined delivery. The PM will guide cross-functional teams, manage progress against plan, and ensure resources align to project needs.

Location: Remote. Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually. Travel up to 50% as required.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will lead technical project execution for complex field-based work, with a strong focus on safety, coordination, and disciplined delivery. The Technical Project Manager will guide cross-functional teams, manage progress against plan, and keep resources aligned to project needs. The position also plays a key role in identifying and managing risks, supporting customer-facing execution, and driving projects through formal close-out.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and establish the project execution approach
• Monitor and control project progress and resource utilization
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks
• Drive formal acceptance of the project and contract close-out
• Travel to customer sites and project locations as needed

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and a zero-incident culture
• 8+ years of construction or field experience, preferably with an electrical systems background
• Completion of 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams
• Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems, with exposure to commissioning and EPMS/SCADA concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support creative issue resolution
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Proven experience managing subcontractors, trade labor, and multi-discipline field teams
• Willingness to travel 50% and as required
