Job Summary

Bamboo is looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with experience managing a wide range of technical projects from initiation through completion. The TPM will act as both scrum master and project manager, overseeing SaaS tool implementations, API integrations, workflow optimization, and process improvements for diverse users.

As a TPM, you will work with multiple business areas and numerous development teams, prioritizing the backlog, setting sprint goals, and delivering releases on a regular schedule.

Your role will involve facilitating cross‑functional collaboration between your scrum team and other technical teams. You will serve as the main point of contact for business stakeholders and the scrum master for your technical project teams.

We expect you to document every phase of the project diligently and ensure it is completed on time, within scope, and with stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities

• At least four years of managing technical projects in a high‑growth environment.
• Extremely comfortable with the Atlassian Ecosystem—Jira, Confluence, and Advanced Roadmaps.
• Clear communication of project requirements, status, and updates to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
• Proactive identification and documentation of project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical foundation and understanding of technical concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work activities.
• Self‑starter who can produce results with minimal oversight.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SaaS and vendor implementations.

Preferred Requirements

• Property and casualty insurance domain knowledge.
• Jira Administrator experience or certification.
• Developer or AWS experience.
• PMP certification.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary

Starting at $135,000 annually. Candidate’s skills, experience, and abilities will be considered for the final offer.
