Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior project controls professional for a DOE/NNSA program in the Los Alamos area. You will manage discrete technical projects, establish requirements, define deliverables, budgets, and schedules, and oversee planning, tracking, and execution from initiation to completion.

The role requires advanced Excel, Primavera P6, Cobra, and EVMS experience, plus the ability to analyze costs, identify trends, and present solutions to stakeholders. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• U.S. Citizenship
• Satisfactory pre-employment screening, including drug and breath alcohol test
• Motor Vehicle Record check
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Primavera P6, and Cobra
• Demonstrated initiative and independence
• Strong communication skills across technical and business contexts
• Experience in project controls within DOE/NNSA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Active DOE/DoD clearance within the past two years preferred
• Previous DOE/NNSA work experience preferred
• Knowledge of LANL Project Controls procedures, policies, and processes highly desirable
• Knowledge of DOE O 413.3B EVMS requirements highly desirable
