About the Job

The Technology Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for coordinating, executing, and delivering technology projects for the Technology Operations group. This role ensures that initiatives are well-organized, efficiently managed, and completed on time, within scope, within budget, and support the strategic objectives of the Technology organization. This role oversees the successful execution of initiatives across lifecycle services, service desk, technology services, and cloud operations and systems engineering.

The TPM partners closely with Technical Product Managers across the Technology organization and Product Managers within the Product organization to align and execute the integrated Product/Technology roadmap. Project responsibilities include leading new initiatives (e.g., cloud infrastructure project, automation rollouts), managing technical infrastructure upgrades, and driving technical debt remediation efforts.

The individual in this role must be proactive, thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and can translate business goals into executable technology plans with measurable results. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, risk management, issue tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, and leveraging a sprint planning approach to project delivery.
  • Drive consistent project management practices, documentation, and reporting, in an agile manner.
  • Coordinate dependencies across technical and operational teams to maintain momentum and resolve blockers.
  • Monitor progress against key milestones and adjust project schedules as needed to meet objectives.
Project Management & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end project management across technology initiatives — from initiation through delivery and post-launch review.
  • Develop detailed project plans, task assignments, and timelines to ensure accountability and timely delivery.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and communications to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies across technology and product teams.
  • Drive consistent project management practices, documentation, and reporting.
  • Drive post-project evaluations and lessons learned to improve future delivery performance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Technology Operations and cross-functional partners (Applications, Architecture, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Security, People Experience and Product).
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and executive summaries to leadership.
Internal Engineering Enablement
  • Collaborate with cloud operations and systems engineering, product and software engineering teams to plan the delivery of infrastructure solutions that support CI/CD pipelines and application lifecycle needs.
  • Lead project planning and execution of legacy system retirement in coordination with enterprise architecture, application owners, security and compliance teams.
Operational Excellence
  • Partner with Technology Operations leaders to plan and deliver key operational projects (e.g., infrastructure upgrades, process automations, tool migrations).
  • Support project intake and prioritization processes for the Technology Operations portfolio.
  • Collaborate in setting and measuring operational goals and ensure the Technology Operations team meets service delivery expectations, incident SLAs, and infrastructure project timelines.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within Technology Operations by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce complexity, and improve delivery performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of and advocacy for company IT policies, security controls and related compliance obligations (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI).
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science plus a minimum of 2 to 4 years of I.T. or Project Management experience with a track record of success in delivering comparable IT projects and services or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2–4 years of hands‑on project management experience leading technology or IT operations initiatives within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
  • Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or PMI‑ACP) preferred. PMP certification is beneficial.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with both product and operational delivery functions.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI).
  • Understanding of AWS infrastructure (including EC2, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, and related services) is beneficial.
  • Understanding of production systems support, DevOps automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices is beneficial.
  • Understanding of systems administration, monitoring platforms, and incident management frameworks is beneficial.
Desired Attributes

  • High integrity, dependability, and commitment to follow‑through
