Job summary

Avnet is seeking a detail-oriented professional to consult with customers on design, development and maintenance of products in Chandler, AZ. You will coordinate installation procedures, support the sales channel, and work with field teams on technical solutions to meet business objectives.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong collaboration with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and drive changes in the build process.

Responsibilities

• Assists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposals.

• Consults with customers and technology groups to clarify or resolve problems.
• Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layouts.
• Directs and coordinates building/manufacturing of product or system.
• Reviews change requests, evaluates impact, and provides timelines.
• May implement ECOs and ECNs to document and build process.
• Communicates ECO/ECN to production, sales, and customer engineering teams.

Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with technical solutions to support the customer's business objectives.Principal Responsibilities:Assists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposal.May be required to integrate and document Order Specific Information (OSI), first article and prototype orders.Resolves all technical and process related issues. Documents build process and trains production staff on customer requirements, as well as industry best practices. Consults with other technology staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall design/prototype.Confers with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems. Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout. Directs and coordinates building/manufacturing of product or system.Reviews change requests, evaluates impact of change, and provides implementation timelines.May implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to document and build process. Communicates Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) to production, sales, and customer engineering team.Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.Other duties as assigned.Job Level Specifications:Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline.
