Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI‑powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

As our team expands, we are seeking Technical Program Managers to focus on the challenges of development projects in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing threat landscape. This role can support any of our divisions/business units and can be located in one of our several locations. If qualified, you will interview with a team that best matches your background/experience and location preference.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you must be a technical leader with the expertise to evaluate, qualify, develop, and advocate for increasingly sophisticated parallel pursuits in mission‑level autonomous systems software development. This position will involve program planning, organization, and compliance activities, and offers the chance to develop business knowledge and expertise in a fast‑growing technology company. Preferred candidates will have a strong background in project management, a willingness to learn, be a team player, and be able to adapt to a fast‑paced technology business. You will learn technical concepts quickly and use your knowledge, combined with program management skills, to lead cross‑functional efforts and deliver the best outcome for Anduril and its stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Ownership: TPMs are owners; lead the project from start to finish with the customer and engineering team. Develop technical path, identify engineering needs, and validate product outcome with the customer.
  • Embed/Engage: Work side‑by‑side with customers to understand mission challenges and represent the customer in shaping products that solve critical national and international security challenges.
  • Build/Orchestrate: Collaborate with engineers to build solutions and pivot development as needed. Ensure all internal teams (engineering, product, logistics, finance, legal, contracting, technical operations, etc.) are engaged and informed.
  • Plan: Coordinate and communicate the path to success with internal and external partners, including sprint plans, execution plans, and milestones.
  • Grow our business through customer success: Meet commercial targets and establish trust‑based partnerships to help customers solve immediate problems and foresee future opportunities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.S. (minimum) in Electrical, Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years relevant military experience.
  • Experience with deployment and integration of sophisticated hardware and software systems.
  • Experience building and leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
  • Comfortable setting and achieving goals in an amorphous environment.
  • Ability to manage concurrent priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Comfortable working in limited resource environments.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to engage in technical discussions and translate technical details to diverse audiences.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to relocate as needed.
  • Eligible for DoW SkillBridge Program.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in defense, hardware, autonomy, or robotics deployments and knowledge of mission‑critical quality standards.
  • Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary engineering teams to successful completion of projects.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement processes and practices (FAR and DFARS).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Adobe Pro, or equivalent project management software.
  • Maintain customer relationship with timely, accurate, and meaningful communications.
  • Creation of project proposals, program plans, reports, and process documentation.
