Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Silicon Product Definition in Santa Clara, CA. You will own the silicon product lifecycle from bring-up to mass production, coordinating across engineering, design, and marketing to meet milestones and budgets.

You will guide silicon, board, and system development, manage requirements collateral, and drive schedule integrity. This role emphasizes hands‑on hardware leadership and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years (with BS) or 5+ years (with MS) in semiconductor, board, and system program management.
  • Proven track record managing complex semiconductor and system projects from concept to delivery.
  • Hands on experience in development of silicon-based products.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the silicon-based products lifecycle from planning to ramp into mass production.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing to define objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide technical expertise in chip, board, and system development.
  • Own requirements collateral, datasheets, and feature POR.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules to ensure on-time, within-budget execution.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Foster cross-functional communication and teamwork to align with goals.
  • Drive continuous improvements in program management processes and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management.

Job description

We are now looking for a Technical Program Manager, Silicon Product Definition. The NVIDIA Program Operations group has an immediate opening for a top Technical Program Manager. This group is responsible for the product plan from bring-up to production release. You are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and isn’t afraid to roll-up your sleeves and get hands dirty. You are a self-starter, with great interpersonal skills, and a leader with a deep sense of dedication to execution excellence.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead and manage the entire silicon-based products lifecycle, including planning, delivery of key milestones, and ramp of products into mass production.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical expertise in product (chip, board and systems) development, guiding teams through technical/execution challenges.
  • Own technical requirement collateral, datasheets, and feature POR.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely and within-budget project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve program management processes and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
What we need to see:
  • BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years (with BS), 5+ years (with MS) in semiconductor, board, and system program management.
  • Proven track record of optimally managing complex semiconductor and system projects from concept to delivery.
  • Hands on experience in development of silicon-based products.
  • Deep understanding of silicon product development, board development, software and PDE.
  • Demonstrated ability of having driven hardware product feature tradeoffs (preferably GPU product related)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple technical and business teams.
  • Self-directed and driven, highly motivated, creative, and have a consistent record of balancing multiple tasks at any given time.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD for Level 4, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
