Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead infrastructure asset expansion and solutions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define requirements, assess risks, and keep programs on schedule across data centers and network infrastructure.

You will translate complex technical needs into actionable plans, partner with finance, legal, and engineering, and deliver scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure that supports Google Cloud and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management.
  • 5+ years of experience in data center or network infrastructure, cloud computing, or technical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze global cloud market trends to inform infrastructure decisions.
  • Translate technical cloud infrastructure requirements into actionable specifications for infrastructure planning.
  • Collaborate with physical assets and engineering teams to evaluate and recommend optimal infrastructure solutions.
  • Advise on infrastructure strategies with focus on cost optimization, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Partner with internal teams and external providers to execute infrastructure strategies and develop new products for Cloud and AI expansion.

  • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks

  • Analyze global cloud market trends, including hyperscale growth, hybrid/multi-cloud adoption, and demand for specific cloud services, to inform infrastructure decisions.
  • Translate technical cloud infrastructure requirements (e.g., power density, cooling, network connectivity, latency, security, compliance) into actionable specifications for infrastructure planning (e.g., data center, network).
  • Collaborate with physical assets (e.g., data center, network) and engineering teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend optimal infrastructure solutions based on technical criteria, market conditions, and business objectives.
  • Advise on infrastructure strategies, continuously seeking opportunities for cost optimization, scalability, and operational efficiency across our physical asset portfolio.
  • Partner with internal cloud engineering, network, security, Finance, and legal teams, as well as external network planners, data center planners, and utility providers, to execute comprehensive infrastructure strategies. Develop new products where necessary to meet future infrastructure needs for Cloud and AI Expansion.
