Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead complex security risk projects within gTech. You will plan requirements, manage schedules, and communicate tradeoffs to engineers and executives.

The role requires 5 years of program management experience, collaboration with security engineering, data analysis skills (SQL), and the ability to influence across cross-functional teams. Equity and benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution roadmap for internal security tools, managing timelines, priorities, and engineering resource allocation across the software development life-cycle.
• Ensure technical architectures from the Functional pod are translated accurately and efficiently into software builds by the Operational pod.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with central, managing security reviews, infrastructure dependencies, and compliance launch gates.
• Triage engineering issues, evaluate design tradeoffs, and assess risk surfaces to prevent project bottlenecks.
• Lead specific programmatic domains (e.g., Data and Access Governance or Remediation and Response Operations), ensuring holistic coverage of the gTech risk environment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
