Technical Program Manager — Hardware Development Programs

Required Skills:
- 6+ years of hardware TPM or Engineering Program Management experience, with proven success leading end-to-end product development
- Extensive experience managing hardware development from concept through EVT/DVT/PVT and into production ramp
- Strong background in the Automotive industry or Consumer Electronics at the system or subsystem level
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams spanning hardware, software, firmware, safety, procurement, and vehicle development
- Experience working with outside contract manufacturers (CMs) during development and ramp‑up phases
- Proficiency with program management tools such as JIRA, Gantt charts, and other planning software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to report progress, risks, and issues clearly and concisely to leadership
- Strong problem‑solving skills, self‑motivated, and proactive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Managed 2+ full program development cycles involving hardware and software integration
- Experience with production programs during mass production (MP) and post‑MP sustaining phases
- Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Track record of building strong relationships with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and rapid development cycles
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (advanced degrees preferred)
- 6+ years in hardware‑focused TPM or engineering management roles, preferably within automotive or consumer electronics sectors
Other Requirements:
- Hybrid work arrangement in Foster City, CA, requiring at least 3 days/week onsite
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving startup environment with adaptability and resilience
- Willingness to support multiple stakeholders and wear many hats as needed
- No travel requirements specified, but flexibility preferred if needed for key meetings
