Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced product or program manager to own BOM processes, drive PLM improvements and coordinate release schedules across engineering and business teams in the Seattle area.

You will collaborate with customers to translate requirements into functional designs and technical specs, manage risks and metrics, and help scale AWS infrastructure programs while maintaining a strong focus on quality and delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • 2+ years building BOMs in Product Lifecycle Management application.

Responsibilities

  • Create product BOMs and process change orders in a PLM system.
  • Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes.
  • Own a program, develop strategies, identify risk, success criteria, execute project plans and provide communication to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand and analyze requirements, and subsequently develop functional designs, configuration, and technical specification documentation.
  • Drive timely part setup, BOM releases, BOM changes to support new product introduction (NPI) as well as sustaining the business.
  • Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create product BOMs and process change orders in a PLM system.
  • Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

Base salary range: 127,100.00 - 172,000.00 USD annually. Includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, location.
