Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead AI Sovereign Cloud Expansion efforts from Kirkland, WA. You will own large, multi-team programs, plan requirements, identify risks, and communicate tradeoffs to executives and engineers.

This advanced role requires 10+ years in technical program management, experience with hyperscale cloud deployment, and strong data-driven business judgment to measure success and drive customer‑centric outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technical program management.
  • 10 years of experience managing execution of programs that span across multiple engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a Master's degree or PhD.
  • Sovereign cloud buildout and hyperscale data center deployment experience, leading programs for scaling cloud expansion while ensuring unparalleled customer experience.
  • TPM people management skills and experience.
  • Understanding of AI and Cloud infrastructure, platforms, services development, and experience with the latest AI chips and roadmaps.
  • Strong business acumen using data modeling to construct analysis, identify business improvement opportunities, measure success, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a portfolio of large, complex AI and Cloud Expansion programs, identifying opportunities to increase expansion scale and speed by 10X while securing necessary investments.
  • Coordinate a set of technical and non-technical stakeholders to streamline region buildouts, automate capacity delivery, and establish milestone reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to meet business objectives, effectively resolving or escalating issues to ensure on‑time program delivery.
  • Maintain an up-to-date view of program health and implement systematic methods to track status, manage risks, and ensure overall success.
  • Create and implement new processes and tooling designed specifically to reduce operational toil for both engineering teams and customers.

We are looking for a TPM who has in-depth experience with hyperscale cloud regions, data centers, strategic cloud capacity, cloud customer requirements, and cloud infra technical program management.
