Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager in San Francisco to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company.

You will work with the Technical Infrastructure team to develop and maintain data centers and scale AI-enabled solutions, partnering with engineers and executives to translate analyses into actionable business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years of experience with AI/ML projects, tools, or infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience in data center supply planning, site development, construction, design, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs enabling AI implementations in data center asset planning.
• Identify gaps and scale AI solutions, standardizing AI feature deployment.
• Develop and manage data sets to create integrated data center asset forecasts using AI.
• Communicate resource needs and investment signals to suppliers and partners to align regional plans with business objectives.
• Establish governance frameworks to monitor delivery risks from site acquisition through construction.

• Lead cross-functional programs that will enable the implementation of AI in all data center asset regional planning functions.
• Identify gaps and define opportunities for scaling AI solutions, standardizing AI feature implementation, and driving program delivery through technical judgment.
• Develop and manage complex data sets to create integrated data center asset supply forecasts (including energy, real estate and other critical infrastructure needs), leveraging AI tool outputs to drive critical supply planning and tradeoff decisions.
• Communicate resource requirements and investment signals to key suppliers and execution partners (Acquisition, Energy, Construction) to ensure regional supply plans align with business objectives.
• Establish robust cross-functional governance frameworks to enforce planning principles, monitoring impact of asset delivery status and risks from site acquisition through construction completion on the geographic data center supply plans.
