Job summary

Machinify, a leading healthcare intelligence company, is seeking a talented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive multi-team software initiatives from concept to production.

You will coordinate Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps and PM work streams, manage release schedules, identify gaps, and communicate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable products. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a TPM in a high-tech organization delivering software products to production.
• 2+ years of software development experience, ideally in system-level design.
• Ability to guide development with deep technical insight while managing projects.
• Experience building scope, schedule, resources, and quality/verification steps.
• Experience communicating with external partners and stakeholders.
• Proactive, initiative-driven, and able to own projects end-to-end.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

What You'll Do:

• Provide software development project management + cross-functional coordination and communication to deliver outstanding products. This includes understanding product and business requirements driving the engineering programs.
• Manage and track engineering project delivery schedules and ensure they align with cross-functional upstream and downstream dependencies (Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps, PM, etc) and correlate to end-to-end delivery commitments.
• Identify gaps and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, follow-through until resolution
• Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive effective and consistent processes in engineering organization, working with engineering leadership.

What You Bring:

• You have 5+ years of experience as a TPM in a high-tech organization, and have a strong track record of facilitating enterprise level projects. You have spent this time working directly with software engineering teams delivering software products to production.
• You have 2+ years of software development experience yourself, ideally in an area of building and evaluating system-level technical design
• You bring technical dive-deep to guide the development process, and project management skills to ensure the proper solution is delivered to customers.
• Your project management experience includes understanding and working with technical teams to build scope, schedule, resourcing, and quality/verification steps.
• You have mechanisms for risk and critical path management.
• You have experience communicating with external partners and stakeholders
• You enjoy taking the initiative and owning projects from start to finish
• You can build positive relationships based on trust and value delivered
• You can communicate effectively and bring strong process, project management and decision-making/facilitating skills.
• You are a critical thinker who can be strategic without losing the attention to detail

The salary for this position is based on an array of factors unique to each candidate: Such as years and depth of experience, set skills, certifications, etc. We are hiring for different levels and the base salary can vary based on your assessed level. Compensation also includes meaningful equity, healthcare, unlimited PTO, and more.
