Job summary

Apogee seeks a talented Technical Program Manager to join their team at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This full-time position supports the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and requires strong leadership in various intelligence disciplines.

Overview

Apogee is looking for a talented Technical Program Manager to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). This high‑impact position will provide technical leadership guiding the application and advancement of critical intelligence disciplines such as Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), and Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME). NASIC’s mission is to discover and characterize air, space, missile, and cyber threats to enable full‑spectrum multi‑domain operations, drive weapon system acquisition, and inform national defense policy.

This is a full‑time opportunity at Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Ohio. Employment is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
  • Provides expert‑level oversight of program and functional managers across a broad portfolio of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) and Information Technology (IT) programs.
  • Consults on program execution, including multiple agency partnering, opportunity assessments, resource allocations, and risk identification on technical and developmental issues.
  • Directs and evaluates cost, schedule, and performance of complex technical efforts.
  • Solicits operational/technical requirements and prepares supporting documentation, statements of work, and submits for approval/processing.
  • Tracks status of acquisitions from submission through award, supports contract administration, and manages contract deliverables, obligations, and expenditures.
  • Interfaces with external agencies to facilitate collaboration, data and product sharing, and integration of intelligence.
  • Facilitates technical exchanges and implements processes for broader community awareness of Intelligence R&D efforts across the Air Force enterprise.
  • Develops and presents briefings to executive and senior‑level customer personnel.
Qualifications
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) adjudication.
  • Education: Master’s degree.
  • Years of experience: 9 years of experience supporting DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) technical project management activities.
Additional Experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ISR and intelligence disciplines.
  • Effective, efficient written and oral communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction.
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
