This position reports to the Engineering Lead, and you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex software and cloud projects, ranging from large-scale consumer mobile applications and custom map locators to data analytics, engineering, and AI/ML solutions. You will navigate the full customer engagement lifecycle, helping to oversee project development from project kickoff to go-live and ongoing support. You will bring strong business and technical acumen, using Agile methodologies to manage cross-functional teams, subcontractors, stakeholders, and project budgets.

What You Will Do:
  • Work closely with business and customer stakeholders to define clear product objectives and technical requirements.
  • Engage in the full lifecycle of professional services projects, including reviewing statements of work to provide feedback on resourcing, schedules, and budgets.
  • Establish and maintain relevant customer-facing project management frameworks, such as Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban, potentially interfacing with existing client tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard project management deliverables including implementation plans, project schedules, budget variances, and risk assessments.
  • Plan and facilitate daily stand-ups, weekly status meetings, and other Scrum ceremonies as required to ensure continuous stakeholder communication.
  • Closely manage project budgets and resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with internal team leaders, phase managers, and external subcontractors to identify, address, and resolve project issues impacting quality or client goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for additional services, including new statements of work, change requests, and support agreements.
  • Successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality across all workstreams.
What You Will Bring:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in a Technical Program or Project Management role, preferably within a professional services or cloud technology environment.
  • Deep understanding of managing projects using Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) in a fast-paced, often remote environment.

  • BS Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMI-PMP) or a Scrum Master Certification.
  • Prior experience in a software engineering role or other related technical discipline.
  • Experience leading projects involving major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Technical savvy with the ability to learn new technologies quickly and the ability to read or write code in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues while evaluating product performance metrics.
