Technical Program Manager (Engineering/Construction)

Overview

We’re seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead a high-impact, multi-phase operational transformation project. This is a strategic role requiring expertise in project management, supply chain optimization, and cross-functional team coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and logistics.

  • Warehouse Expansion
  • Transition of Contract Manufacturers
  • Return to In-House Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for each phase. Define milestones and ensure timely delivery.
  • Budget Oversight: Create and manage budgets. Monitor costs, track expenditures, and course-correct as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate efforts between architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams. Drive collaboration and accountability.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Enforce adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Perform quality audits and ensure technical excellence.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as liaison between client leadership, vendors, and external partners. Provide clear updates, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure contingency planning is in place and proactively managed.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized documentation. Deliver regular status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Demonstrate strong supply chain management capabilities. Lead implementation of tools and practices supporting JIT (Just-In-Time) manufacturing processes. Experience with supply chain operations is strongly preferred.
Role Logistics
  • Contract Term: Initial 12-month contract with strong potential to extend
  • Location: Primarily on-site in Cincinnati, OH; some remote flexibility and travel to other client sites
