Job description

Pegasus Solar is the fastest-growing provider of proprietary solar mounting hardware and project design software in the U.S. In 2025, we’ll manufacture and ship more than 13 million parts — with a Pegasus system installed once per minute.

We’re a tight-knit, high-impact team driven to accelerate solar deployment by making it simpler, faster and better. Founded in 2012, Pegasus partners with installers to design and engineer products that improve installation efficiency and long-term reliability. With 180+ patents issued/pending and 500,000 systems installed, Pegasus continues to set the standard for innovation and reliability in solar. Our mission is to give installers a better day on the job — and system owners a better product for life.

If you’re passionate about clean energy, innovation, and scaling world-class hardware, this is where you’ll make an impact.

What your day looks like:

  • Maintain and update Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs)
  • Work directly with engineers, sales and field teams, supply chain leadership, and the CEO to gather input that is used to drive product improvements and innovation
  • Facilitate and document NPI review meetings; take meeting minutes, record action items track project status
  • Maintain and continuously improve the NPI tracker across all active programs (residential, commercial flat roof and C&I ground mount systems)
  • Identify schedule and resource risks and work through solutions with various stake holders
  • Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows for meeting capture, document organization, status reporting, and timeline management
  • Work with our engineering, supply chain and operations teams to develop best practices for items such as efficient document revision control, engineering change orders, first article documentation etc.

This is a hybrid role: in-office attendance is required on Tuesdays and Thursdays (and other days as needed), and you'll join calls with our Asia-based supply teams on Monday and Wednesday afternoons / early evenings.

What we are looking for:

  • 3–5 years in an operations or engineering-adjacent coordination role. Bonus points if the role was in supply chain or manufacturing
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation such as PRDs, MRDs, or engineering specifications
  • Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, or similar in a real workflow — not just occasional use)
  • Experience in project management tools (we use Asana)
  • Excited with ever shifting tasks; We are moving fast and need someone who can adapt and grow with us
  • Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with hardware manufacturing is a strong plus; experience in the solar industry is not required
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field
