We are Siemens

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Are you seeking a role where you can contribute to the development and application of AI in engineering simulation as well as work on technology that uses existing simulation data to enable faster and more efficient predictions?

We're hiring a Technical Specialist who will play a key role in connecting development, product management, and customer-facing teams. This position offers the opportunity to work across a range of activities, contributing technical depth while supporting real-world customer challenges.

Join our growing global team working at the intersection of physics simulation and artificial intelligence. Simcenter PhysicsAI focuses on using AI to learn from existing simulation data and enable faster predictions, helping engineering teams explore and evaluate designs more efficiently.

If you want to be part of a collaborative, evolving team working across development, product, and customer-facing functions as well as engaging with real-world engineering challenges and help shape future solutions then we'd love to hear from you!

You'll make a difference by:

  • Supporting customer-facing engagements by delivering technical demonstrations and responding to in-depth questions

  • Assisting customers during software evaluations, including guiding them through benchmarks and helping optimise outcomes

  • Collaborating with internal teams on technical benchmarks and validation activities

  • Contributing to outbound technical communication, such as training materials, documentation, or presentations

  • Capturing and communicating customer feedback to inform future product development

  • Acting as a liaison between development, product, sales, and marketing teams

Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Experience working with physics-based simulation, such as structural or fluid simulation tools (e.g. Nastran, OptiStruct, STAR-CCM+ or similar)

  • Familiarity with simulation software environments, including tools within the Simcenter portfolio (or comparable platforms)

  • Programming skills, with Python experience preferred

  • Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts, such as data curation, model training, and testing workflows

  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to different audiences

  • Experience working collaboratively within distributed or global teams

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.
