A leading technology firm is seeking a Technical Product Owner to refine user stories and guide development in agile processes. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in product management and a solid background in Agile methodologies. Proficient communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. This position is based in Missouri with a preference for Overland Park.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Software Engineering.
• 2 years' experience in delivering software using Agile Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Remains available to development teams to answer questions during iterations.
• Drives user story refinement ensuring backlog has ready work for development.

Overview

Technical Product Owner – Swagger, API

Responsibilities

• Defines and refines user stories in the agile team backlog to streamline execution of product priorities while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of features for the team.
• Remains highly available to the development teams during each iteration to answer real time questions and provide clarity to user stories.
• Drives user story refinement activities ensuring team backlog contains 2 iterations worth of 'ready' work for developmentteam.
• Plays significant role in quality control by ensuring the acceptance criteria has been met.

Work Experience

• 4+ years of relevant Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, and System Analyst or Architecture Software Engineer experience in an agile software product development environment.
• 2 years' experience in delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Technical Writing- Strong requirements gathering skills and proven writing abilities, including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
• Agile Project Management - Experience with Agile backlog project management tools.
• Communication - Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, technical and non-technical audiences while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
• Business Analytics - Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify analyze synthesize product use data.

Additional Considerations

• Onshore – based on CST time
• Location – Overland Park is preferred (but not required)
• MarTech andor Analytics experience knowledge is preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe solutions (Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, Target, Data Collection, etc.) is preferred
