Job summary

BD Performing Arts is seeking a Technical Product Owner to guide the vision, user experience, and execution of its technical initiatives. The role oversees internal and external applications, systems, and websites, with a focus on translating ideas into intuitive interfaces and managing an outsourced development team.

Remote work is possible from anywhere in the United States, with Pacific Time hours. Candidates must reside in WA, OR, or CA.

Qualifications

Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
Proven proficiency with Figma, creating wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and developer-ready UI specs.
Experience with software development teams and modern processes (SCRUM) and AI-assisted coding.
Vision for AI including coding, agents, security, and responsible AI.
Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Drive requirements gathering through user research across diverse users and stakeholders.
Translate ideas and business requirements into high-fidelity UI designs using Figma.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI specs for clarity to stakeholders and developers.
Facilitate design reviews, validate usability, and refine designs based on feedback.
Collaborate with outsourced/offshore developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
