Viasat's Government business is poised for significant growth in the coming years, bringing mission-critical connectivity solutions to our warfighters across the battlespace. Our solutions serve user groups and market segments across all services as well as within the intelligence and international government communities. As a Technical Product Manager (TPdM), you will be responsible for aggregating user needs and customer requests across domains, translating them into a consolidated set of product requirements and roadmap to guide the engineering teams in product development.
The TPdM role involves interfacing with stakeholders to include business product and program managers, engineering leads, and customers to understand the product vision and business roadmap/s and market requirements. The TPdM must also work with engineering teams to execute the vision by establishing the technical product requirements and timeline. This requires an affinity for thinking about users, use cases, and value propositions as well as a technical understanding of the underlying infrastructure (primarily cloud architectures and networking) required to support the product. An innate ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and market environments is also essential.
$120,500.00 - $190,000.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $149,500.00- $224,500.00/ annually
