Job summary

TinyURL is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own discovery, write clear specifications, manage the backlog and roadmap, and align the Founder’s vision with development execution. You will work closely with the team to ensure precise requirements and documentation across features.

You will collaborate with developers and customer success to answer product questions, provide release notes, and keep internal knowledge up to date. This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in technical product management.
• Proven ability to write specs that developers love to work from.
• Comfortable working European hours (GMT to GMT+3 ideal) & American hours (mixed).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Highly experienced with Jira and Jira automation + Confluence management.
• Experience in a small (<30 people) company is a plus.
• Hands-on development experience—backend or full-stack—is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Run internal discovery workshops with the Founder and the team.
• Write crystal-clear high-level documentation covering feature overview, risk and mitigation, acceptance criteria, and UI/UX requirements.
• Monitor and update documentation progress for user stories, edge cases, design updates, and task updates.
• Track and maintain the product backlog, ensuring updates are reflected on each backlog ticket.
• Own the company roadmap and release planning.
• Collaborate with developers and the Founder for technical adjustments to requirements.
• Support Customer Success by answering product questions and updating release notes.
