Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead Salesforce CRM platform strategy, roadmaps, and delivery across the organization. You will partner with sales, marketing, service, operations, data, and security teams to ensure scalable, integrated CRM solutions with strong user adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, CRM platform leadership, or enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM platform capabilities such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, integrations, workflow automation, security model, and release lifecycle.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise CRM products or large-scale Salesforce initiatives in complex organizations.
  • Ability to translate business goals into scalable CRM product solutions and technical delivery plans.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, UX, data, compliance, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Salesforce CRM platform and related capabilities.
  • Partner with commercial, sales, marketing, service, operations, data, architecture, security, and engineering teams to understand priorities and translate them into product outcomes.
  • Manage the Salesforce CRM platform as a strategic enterprise product, balancing business demand, technical sustainability, user experience, and platform scalability.
  • Lead discovery and prioritization for CRM enhancements across onboarding, account, lead, opportunity, service workflows, case management, consent, and engagement.
  • Translate business requirements into clear epics, features, user stories, and technical backlog items for delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce architects, developers, administrators, integration teams, and QA partners for design and execution.
  • Drive improvements across Salesforce ecosystem capabilities: configuration, customization, integrations, data quality, workflow automation, reporting, user adoption.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and engineering on platform modernization, release planning, environment strategy, debt reduction.
  • Ensure CRM capabilities integrate with marketing automation, data platforms, ERP, MDM, service tools, and analytics solutions.
  • Use metrics and feedback to guide roadmap decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Support Agile delivery practices including backlog management, sprint planning, dependency management, release readiness, stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, privacy, security, and data stewardship standards, especially in regulated environments.
  • Manage external vendors, implementation partners, and global delivery teams where applicable.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to broader CRM product management and platform governance best practices.

Summary

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager - Salesforce CRM Platform to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Salesforce-based CRM capabilities that enable customer engagement, commercial operations, and business process transformation. This role will be responsible for shaping and evolving the Salesforce platform as a strategic product, ensuring it delivers scalable, integrated, and user-centered solutions aligned with business priorities.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of product management expertise, Salesforce platform knowledge, technical fluency, and stakeholder leadership, with the ability to work across business and technology teams in a complex enterprise environment. This role is critical to driving platform modernization, adoption, operational excellence, and long-term CRM value realization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Salesforce CRM platform and related capabilities.

  • Partner with commercial, sales, marketing, service, operations, data, architecture, security, and engineering teams to understand priorities and translate them into product outcomes.

  • Manage the Salesforce CRM platform as a strategic enterprise product, balancing business demand, technical sustainability, user experience, and platform scalability.

  • Lead discovery and prioritization for CRM enhancements across areas such as customer onboarding, account management, lead management, opportunity management, service workflows, case management, consent, and customer engagement processes.

  • Translate business requirements into clear epics, features, user stories, and technical backlog items for delivery teams.

  • Collaborate with Salesforce architects, developers, administrators, integration teams, and QA partners to ensure effective design and execution.

  • Drive improvements across Salesforce ecosystem capabilities, including configuration, customization, integrations, data quality, workflow automation, reporting, and user adoption.

  • Ensure CRM capabilities integrate effectively with adjacent enterprise platforms such as marketing automation, data platforms, ERP, MDM, service tools, and analytics solutions.

  • Use business metrics, platform usage insights, and customer feedback to guide roadmap decisions and continuous improvement.

  • Support Agile delivery practices including backlog management, sprint planning, dependency management, release readiness, and stakeholder communications.

  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, privacy, security, and data stewardship standards, especially in regulated environments.

  • Manage external vendors, implementation partners, and global delivery teams where applicable.

  • Mentor team members and contribute to broader CRM product management and platform governance best practices.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Product Owner-related credentials.

  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience with CRM-related domains such as customer onboarding, omnichannel engagement, consent management, service operations, or commercial excellence.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled CRM capabilities, workflow intelligence, and automation use cases within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Experience with vendor management, offshore delivery teams, and global operating models.

  • Experience with MDM Reltio and / or Databricks - desired
