CHG Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution in a spec-driven development environment.

You will author detailed specifications, embed with engineering, review design work, and validate ideas with prototypes and code. This role blends business context with technical depth, partnering with engineers to shape roadmaps, define metrics, run experiments, and translate complex systems into clear guidance for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Author and own detailed technical specifications for product initiatives, including system context, data flows, API contracts, acceptance criteria, and edge case definitions.
• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap grounded in customer research, market analysis, and business objectives.
• Write prototypes, proof-of-concept scripts, and lightweight automation to validate assumptions and accelerate decision-making.
• Partner with engineering as an embedded team member: participate in design reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and PR reviews for spec alignment.
• Define product metrics, design experiments, and independently extract and analyze data to drive prioritization.

You will be embedded within engineering workflows, participating in design reviews, reviewing pull requests for spec alignment, and writing prototypes and code to validate your own assumptions. For this position, we offer a pay range of $104,000 -- $201,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses.
