Job summary

SwitchThink Solutions, a Phoenix-based technology partner for Desert Financial Credit Union and 175+ clients, seeks a senior Product Manager. You will own roadmaps, drive agile delivery, and align products with business outcomes.

This hybrid role interacts with engineering, design, security, sales, and partners to deliver secure, scalable hosted services. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate customer needs into features, monitor performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, CS, engineering or related field (preferred) or equivalent.
• 4+ years in hosting and/or managed services B2B product management.
• 4+ years in technical IT product management with cloud/datacenter services.
• 2+ years of strategic analysis in a B2B system implementation.
• 2+ years working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle.
• PM Certification or equivalent (within 90 days).
• PMP Certification or equivalent (within 90 days).
• Cloud Certification: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (within 90 days).
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads the analysis, creation, ongoing management and communication of the assigned product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Monitors channel performance to recommend improvements and new product offerings.
• Leads internal stakeholders across engineering, design, information security, sales and marketing to determine best implementation and lifecycle management.
• Responsible for programs that support customer adoption of hosted products and services.
• Translates customer needs and technology directions into new features and services.
• Ensures products comply with applicable financial regulations and data security standards.

What you will do here:

• Leads the analysis, creation, ongoing management and communication of the assigned product roadmap(s) aligned with business objectives and supported by business cases, market and client research, all relevant data and competitive gap analysis by performing regular gap analysis to ensure our products and services exceed other marketplace options.
• Monitors channel performance to recommend improvements and new product offerings.
• Leads internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, the engineering, design, information security, sales and marketing teams as well as associated external vendor partners to help determine the best implementation, launch, ongoing sustainment methods/activity and other associated product lifecycle management considerations.
• Responsible for programs that support customer adoption of hosted products and services.
• Works with internal stakeholders to monitor and address product and client challenges.
• Translates customer needs and technology directions into new features and services.
• Ensures products comply with applicable financial regulations and data security standards.
• Understands, researches, and follows technical trends in the industry, collaborating closely with internal technical teams to ensure maximum effectiveness in the delivery on product requirements.
• Serves as a bridge between technical and business teams, ensuring technical solutions align with customer and business outcomes.
• Works as a product owner in an agile team, specifically documenting user stories, acceptance criteria and product capabilities.
• Delivers prioritized product backlog ensuring alignment with sprint goals and KPIs.
• Gathers customer feedback to validate that the product works against stated metrics.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Computer Science, engineering or related field (preferred) OR equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 4+ years' experience in hosting and/or managed services B2B product management required.
• 4+ years in a technical or IT product management and/or managed services position with a provider of cloud, datacenter, utility, or critical environment services required.
• 2+ years of experience of strategic analysis related to system implementation in a B2B environment required.
• 2+ years working with cross-functional teams required.
• Excellent product management skills required.
• Demonstrated combination of technical aptitude and high emotional intelligence required.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and product lifecycle required.
• Expert knowledge of data center processes and technology required.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills appropriate to all levels of the organization as well as clients required.
• Product Management (PM) Certification or equivalent or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire required.
• Cloud Certification: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project Visio, and MS Teams preferred.
• 1+ years Financial Institution Experience (Credit Union or Bank) preferred.
