Job summary

HR On Demand, a Texas-based HR partner, is recruiting on behalf of a global PC hardware and AI computing products manufacturer in City of Industry, CA. The Technical Product Manager will oversee highly technical AI hardware systems from concept to mass production, partnering with engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners.

You will need deep expertise in hardware architectures, thermal management, power delivery and integration of CPUs/GPUs/memory.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of experience in technical product management, systems engineering or hardware product development.
• Experience with PC hardware, workstations, notebooks, servers, or AI infrastructure.
• Proven track record bringing complex hardware products from concept to mass production.

Technical Product Manager – AI Hardware Systems

Best known for its computer cooling solutions, PC cases, power supplies and gaming accessories, the company is expanding its portfolio of advanced systems and high-performance AI computing products.

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced Technical Product Managers to help lead the development of next-generation AI hardware systems.

You will oversee technically complex products from concept through validation and mass production, working closely with engineering teams, global technology partners and Asian ODMs. The portfolio includes ultra-compact AI workstations, advanced mobile computing systems and products built around the latest CPU, GPU and memory architectures.

This is a highly technical product role. You will be expected to understand how thermal performance, acoustics, power delivery, component selection and physical design affect the complete user experience.

Depending on your background, your expertise may be strongest in desktop or workstation systems, high-performance notebooks, silicon ecosystems or hardware platform development.

What You’ll Do

• Lead complex AI hardware products from early concept through development, validation and mass production
• Manage product roadmaps, technical requirements, stage-gate milestones and delivery schedules
• Coordinate across product, systems architecture, thermal-mechanical engineering, firmware and manufacturing teams
• Work closely with Asian ODM partners to maintain quality, performance and delivery standards
• Oversee the integration of CPUs, GPUs, memory, power supplies, cooling systems and other critical components
• Define and defend thermal, acoustic, power and performance requirements
• Ensure systems maintain stable performance during sustained, high-demand AI workloads
• Identify potential technical, manufacturing and supply-chain risks before they affect production
• Build productive relationships with silicon, component and platform partnersTranslate emerging technology roadmaps into practical product requirements and opportunities
• Balance performance, portability, component layout, thermal capacity and commercial viability
• Use testing and performance data to support product and production decisions

What We’re Looking For

• At least seven years of experience in technical product management, systems engineering or hardware product development
• Experience within PC hardware, workstations, notebooks, servers, enterprise computing or AI infrastructure
• A track record of taking technically complex hardware products from concept to mass production
• Experience working with OEMs, ODMs, component suppliers or silicon partners
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture and hardware integration
• An understanding of thermal management, acoustics, power delivery and system performance
• The ability to communicate effectively with engineers, manufacturers, commercial partners and senior stakeholders
• Strong project leadership and the confidence to challenge technical decisions that could compromise product quality
• Experience working across U.S. and Asian teams is highly desirable
• Willingness to travel internationally when required

Relevant specialist experience could include:

• High-performance desktop PCs, compact workstations or server hardware
• Performance notebooks or mobile workstations
• Mobile SoC architecture, unified memory and firmware power management
• CPU, GPU, semiconductor or AI technology ecosystems
• Custom logic boards, high-density components and power-delivery systems
• Local AI inference, machine-learning workloads or AI developer platforms
