Job summary

EmergenceTek Group Inc. is seeking a mid-level Technical Product Manager to lead data, reporting, and technology initiatives. You will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate objectives into organized plans and roadmaps, focusing on data products such as Power BI dashboards and data platforms.

This is a full-time, hybrid role in Dallas, requiring on-site 3–4 days per week with 1–2 days remote; you must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a mid-level Technical Product Manager to lead and coordinate data, reporting, and technology initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

This is not a traditional senior product management position. The ideal candidate has successfully executed complex projects and has some exposure to product-oriented thinking, with room to grow and be mentored.

The "products" in this environment are primarily data products, including Power BI dashboards, reporting solutions, data platforms, integrations, and outbound data solutions.

• Hybrid: 3-4 days onsite in Dallas, TX, 1-2 days remote
• Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience
• Full-time, W2
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. W2 only, no corp-to-corp

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a front-line partner to business stakeholders on data, reporting, and technology initiatives.
• Understand what the business is trying to accomplish and translate those objectives into organized project plans, priorities, and roadmaps.
• Lead complex projects from requirements and planning through execution and implementation.
• Develop project and product roadmaps that establish sequencing, priorities, dependencies, and milestones.
• Bring together individual business requests and technical components to understand how they contribute to the broader solution.
• Coordinate across business stakeholders, business analysts, data engineering, developers, and technology leadership.
• Work closely with the business analyst, who supports detailed business analysis, functional requirements, user stories, and technical documentation.
• Lead or support stand-ups, sprint planning, Agile ceremonies, project tracking, and delivery coordination.
• Identify risks, dependencies, roadblocks, and competing priorities, and work proactively toward resolution.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on progress, priorities, decisions, and project needs.
• Help define goals and desired outcomes for dashboards, reporting products, data platforms, and other data initiatives.
• Build strong institutional knowledge and become a long-term owner and advocate for the organization's data and technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing technology, data, software, or analytics projects.
• Demonstrated success executing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong project management fundamentals with an understanding of product thinking and roadmap development.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into actionable plans.
• Experience working with technical teams and understanding how the components of a solution fit together.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint-based delivery, and project management practices.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to identify connections, dependencies, and implications across multiple projects and business requests.
• Ability to work on-site in Dallas 3 to 4 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience. Specialty pharmacy experience is especially valuable.
• Experience managing data products, reporting solutions, analytics initiatives, or data platforms.
• Familiarity with Power BI and business intelligence environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with data integrations, outbound data files, reporting architecture, or data engineering environments.

What Will Make Someone Successful

We are looking for someone who can see the bigger picture and connect the dots. You do not need 15 years of product management experience, and you do not need to already know every aspect of the environment.

You do need a solid foundation. You have managed complex work successfully, you understand how to organize a technology initiative, you can build a roadmap, you communicate well with business and technical stakeholders, and you have the critical-thinking ability to grow into greater ownership.

Working with the Business Analyst

This role is the more front-facing of the two. You will work with the business, coordinate priorities, manage delivery, and help organize the roadmap. The business analyst works alongside you, digging deeper into requirements, analysis, user stories, functional needs, and technical documentation.

Both roles support sprint execution, stand-ups, stakeholder engagement, analysis, and day-to-day delivery.
