Job summary

IDC is seeking the primary architect of our DARRA strategy to shield high‑value IP from unauthorized use by generative AI models and scrapers, while ensuring seamless access for legitimate partners.

You will define the roadmap for Agent-Aware Firewall, lead the entitlements engine, and monitor AI threats, aligning defenses with revenue goals through collaboration with Engineering, Legal, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline.
• Significant experience in Technical Product Management; Ad Tech, Cybersecurity, or DRM background is a plus.
• Deep AI fluency and ability to discuss evaluation criteria, real risks like data exfiltration, and agentic systems.
• Experience managing complex, high-stakes technical initiatives with revenue loss or IP theft risk.
• Ability to translate technical scraping into clear business risks and opportunities for executive leadership.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate your own work.

About the Role & Team You will be the primary architect of our Digital Asset Rights & Revenue Assurance (DARRA) strategy. You are responsible for ensuring that our high-value intellectual property is shielded from unauthorized exploitation by generative AI models and rogue scrapers, while simultaneously ensuring seamless access for legitimate, authenticated partners.

What You’ll Do

Architect the Defense:Define the roadmap for theAgent-Aware Firewall, creating a dynamic system thatidentifies, classifies, and manages non-human traffic in real-time. The Adjudicator:Lead the development of our automated entitlements engine, ensuring that every request for content is met with the precise level of access granted by our commercial agreements. Strategic Counter-Intelligence:Monitorthe evolving landscape of AI "Dark Arts"—from bypass techniques to unauthorized LLM trainingand develop technical countermeasures to stay two steps ahead. Cross-Functional Leadership:Partner with Engineering, Legal, and Sales to align our technical defenses with our commercial goals, ensuring that supports revenue growth rather than just acting as a gatekeeper.Execution:Drive product clarity through PR/FAQs and 6-pagers. You will own the metrics for "Deflection Rate," "Entitlement Accuracy," and "Revenue Leakage Prevention."

What You Bring

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or another Quantitative Discipline
• Significant, demonstrated experience in Technical Product Management. Ad Tech, Cybersecurity, or DRM background is a plus.
• Deep AI Fluency: You can talk the talk with AI engineers — walking through evaluation criteria, real risks like data exfiltration, and what goes into an agentic system, even if you haven't built one yourself. You track what's happening in the AI industry day to day (new model releases, regulatory rulings) and can speak to how they reshape technical requirements like content watermarking. A proactive obsession with security and asset protection. You don't just wait for a breach; you hunt for vulnerabilities in our distribution model.
• Experience managing complex, high-stakes technical initiatives where the cost of failure is high (revenue loss or IP theft).
• Ability to translate technical scraping into clear business risks and opportunities for executive leadership.
• Demonstrated personal use of AI tools to accelerate your own work - not just overseeing AI initiatives from a distance.

Compensation Transparency

Salary and incentive structures are determined through a rigorous process that considers experience, education, certifications, role-specific requirements, internal equity, and verified U.S. market data from an independent third-party partner.

The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $250,000 – $320,000, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
