Job summary

FHI 360 is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to support global health projects by developing and coordinating technical and public-facing products. You will work with cross-country teams to capture evidence, share learning, and ensure consistency with donor branding and standards.

The role focuses on producing concise, audience-appropriate materials, coordinating webinars and events, and maintaining knowledge repositories.

Job Summary

Provides technical and administrative support for knowledge management and external visibility across large, multi-country global health projects in global health security, emergency and outbreak response, HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, polio, maternal, newborn, and child health, and health systems strengthening. Supports the development and implementation of activities that facilitate knowledge sharing and learning. Drafts high-quality technical products and audience-appropriate messaging for donor, government, partner, and project audiences. Coordinates webinars, conference submissions and presentations, technical events, and related review processes. Helps ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to donor branding and marking requirements and organizational standards. Works collaboratively with technical teams, country offices, and partners to capture, organize, synthesize, and disseminate evidence, lessons learned, best practices, and project achievements.

Technical Requirements

Develops, drafts, edits, and coordinates high-quality technical and public-facing products, including reports, briefs, case studies, success stories, presentations, web content, and learning materials. Synthesizes technical information, evidence, project results, lessons learned, and best practices into concise, audience-appropriate products that support learning and dissemination. Coordinates webinars, conference submissions and materials, presentations, technical sessions, and other learning exchanges. Works closely with technical teams and country offices to ensure activities follow established processes, donor requirements, and organizational standards. Responds to requests and inquiries from technical teams, country offices, partners, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Project Design Implementation

Implements established knowledge management plans, processes, tools, and activities. Tracks knowledge products, events, deliverables, review status, and dissemination activities, and produces reports for review and action. Maintains knowledge repositories, content trackers, editorial calendars, templates, guidance, training materials, and other knowledge management resources.

Project/Program Reporting

Assists with collecting, verifying, and organizing information for inclusion in client reports and technical products.

Applied Knowledge & Skills

Helps coordinate technical, editorial, branding and marking, and clearance reviews to meet client/funder and organizational requirements. Excellent organizational, writing, editing, analytical, and project coordination skills, with strong attention to detail. Ability to synthesize and interpret technical information, identify inconsistencies or gaps, and prepare clear products for varied audiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, coordinate review processes, and implement corrective action as needed. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Proficiency in French desired. Proficiency in other languages a plus. Photography and video production and editing skills a plus.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Communication and Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology and Youth or Related Field.

Experience

Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience managing data collection and technical assistance experience. Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private company.

Typical Physical Demands

Typical office environment. Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.

Technology to be Used

Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft applications (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media management, or other creative software/applications is a plus.

Travel Requirements
