Job summary

WTVM-TV in Columbus, GA seeks a Technical Media Producer to manage newscast and commercial ingestion and to perform playout for ABC, FOX, and NBC programs. The role supports the news department, codes and presents newscasts, and ensures compliance through EAS and transmitter logging.

On-the-job training will be provided, with shifts across the schedule. The position requires flexibility, experience with live newscasts and ingestion workflows, and strong communication under pressure.

Qualifications

Job Summary/Description:

Responsible for newscast and commercial ingestion, as well as playout for ABC, FOX, and NBC shows. Working with the news department to code and present newscasts (Overdrive operation). EAS and transmitter logging to keep the station in FCC compliance, and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be available. Join WTVM as a Technical Media Producer in our Media Control Center.

Responsible for newscast and commercial ingestion as well as playout for both ABC, FOX, and NBC shows. Running multiple sports programs on the various networks, including PSN. (Peachtree Sports Network) Working with the news department to code and present newscasts (Overdrive operation). EAS and transmitter logging to keep the station in FCC compliance and other duties as assigned. The candidate will fill in on various shifts.
