Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead defined technical validation and testing workstreams for integrated solutions.
• Build, configure, test, and troubleshoot lab environments that replicate real-world customer deployments.
• Execute validation plans and document test results, technical findings, issues, and repeatable outcomes.
• Evaluate interoperability, integration points, performance, reliability, and operational considerations across multiple technologies.
• Identify technical gaps, dependencies, and integration challenges and work with engineering and product teams to resolve them.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical marketing engineers, architects, systems engineers, field teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear documentation, validation reports, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept materials.
• Contribute to repeatable testing methodologies, lab standards, and validation processes.
• Support junior engineers and external technical resources with lab practices, troubleshooting techniques, and lessons learned.
• Develop broader technical knowledge across networking, security, cloud, data center, AI, collaboration, and resilience technologies.

Overview

This role combines hands-on lab engineering, solution validation, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in at least one infrastructure domain, a broad understanding of enterprise architectures, and the ability to evaluate how multiple technologies work together in real-world customer environments.

You will build and test lab environments, execute validation plans, troubleshoot complex technical issues, document findings, and translate technical results into clear, credible materials for technical and customer-facing teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting complex enterprise technology environments.
• Strong technical depth in at least one area such as networking, security, cloud, data center, collaboration, or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, connectivity, segmentation, security, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams including engineering, product, architecture, systems engineering, field engineering, or customer-facing teams.
• Experience executing technical testing or validation plans and documenting results.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing, validating, deploying, or supporting integrated enterprise solutions.
• Broad understanding of how networking, security, cloud, data center, and application technologies integrate within enterprise architectures.
• Experience with wireless, network security, zero trust, firewalls, VPN, identity, policy, observability, or network assurance.
• Exposure to AI infrastructure, GPU clusters, high-performance networking/fabrics, AI-ready data centers, or secure AI architectures.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, cloud connectivity, workload networking, or data center architectures.
• Experience with collaboration platforms, digital experience, application behavior, or integrated workflows.
• Experience with performance testing, interoperability testing, proof-of-concept environments, or technical demonstrations.
• Experience creating technical documentation, validation reports, architecture diagrams, lab guides, or customer-facing technical materials.

The ideal candidate should have broad enterprise infrastructure knowledge with deep expertise in at least one technical domain.

• Validation & Testing: Lab environments, interoperability testing, performance testing, proof-of-concept development, evidence collection, and technical documentation.
