Diplomatik is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead CNC programming, manufacturing processes and continuous improvement for a specialist drilling and engineering operation in Western Australia. This hands-on role combines strong technical expertise with practical leadership and a passion for enhancing safety, quality and production efficiency.

• Engineering degree or relevant trade qualification with strong technical experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, technical manufacturing or engineering management.
• Strong Mastercam CNC programming skills across turning and milling.
• Hands-on experience optimising CNC programs on the workshop floor.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and improve manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical and trade personnel.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in mining, drilling, oil and gas or heavy industrial manufacturing will be highly regarded. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, OEE, welding or heat treatment is also beneficial.
