Job summary

Wipro Limited in Irving, TX is seeking a skilled messaging platform engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise messaging services across production and non-production environments.

You will build, configure, deploy, and manage Solace PubSub+ and IBM MQ, troubleshoot latency and queue issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure messaging for business applications. Experience with Jenkins, Git, Python, Docker, Kubernetes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise messaging solutions.
• Proficient in Solace PubSub+ and IBM MQ messaging platforms.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git and scripting (Python / Shell).

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and document module-level solutions within the project lifecycle.
• Design application solutions and ensure alignment with technical standards.
• Code review, troubleshooting, and enforcing coding patterns across modules.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve recurring messaging issues.
• Support deployment, integration, and user training for new applications.
• Build, configure, and manage messaging infrastructure (brokers, queues, topics).
• Provide L3 production support for messaging services with 24x7 coverage.
• Monitor, secure and improve messaging with TLS/SSL, certificates, and access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (application, network, infra, security).

Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to facilitate application solutions by developing and reviewing module‑level codes, creating replication patterns, performing root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable, well‑documented deliverables that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Gathering of requirements – Participate in gathering requirements for specific modules and ensure clear, structured documentation. Work across multiple business processes to capture linkages, dependencies, and required changes.
• Solution Design – Facilitate creation of application solution designs for a specific module under the guidance of the Project Manager, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
• Coding and Configuration – Review the developed codes, resolve technical queries of the team for the assigned module and create consistent replication patterns, to ensure that the developed code aligns with the project standards. Collaborate with project managers through all phases of software development life cycle.
• Perform root‑cause analysis to identify and troubleshoot recurring technical issues. Modify software codes to resolve errors, adapt to new hardware and software, enhance performance, and upgrade interfaces.
• Implementation – Collaborate with technical teams to validate configurations, facilitate integration of new applications, and address dependencies during deployment. Prepare user training documents and related frameworks to ensure smooth adoption of new applications and minimize transition risks.
• Administer, build, and maintain Solace PubSub+ and IBM MQ messaging platforms across enterprise production and non‑production environments.
• Build, configure, deploy, and manage messaging infrastructure including brokers, queues, topics, VPNs, clients, and messaging services.
• Provide L3 production support for business‑critical messaging services and participate in 24×7 operational support coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve messaging issues including queue build‑up, message latency, connectivity failures, throughput bottlenecks, and application integration problems.
• Support platform automation, deployment, and operational efficiency initiatives using Jenkins, Git, Python, Shell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform infrastructure lifecycle management including installation, patching, upgrades, configuration management, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Support containerized and cloud‑hosted deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and Linux‑based environments.
• Implement proactive monitoring and observability using AppDynamics, Elastic Search, and enterprise monitoring platforms to ensure service reliability.
• Manage messaging security including TLS/SSL configuration, certificate lifecycle management, authentication, authorization.
• Partner with application, network, infrastructure, database, and cybersecurity teams to drive continuous improvement, resiliency, compliance, and operational excellence across messaging services.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
