Job summary

Worthington Steel is seeking an experienced Technical Lead for Full-Stack Development to guide the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications. This hands-on leadership role requires writing production-quality code, building APIs, and mentoring developers.

The ideal candidate will deliver scalable solutions across front-end and back-end layers, with exposure to MES and IoT-enabled manufacturing environments. Remote work with weekly on-site in Monroe, MI is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise application development.
• Hands-on with software development while providing technical leadership and mentoring.
• Strong experience with front-end frameworks (Angular or React) and back-end (.NET/ASP.NET Core).
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with SQL Server/Oracle.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications.
• Write production-quality code across front-end, back-end, API, and integration layers.
• Define architecture, standards, and technology selection.
• Build responsive front-ends using Angular or React and robust back-end services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Design and maintain REST APIs and integrations across enterprise systems.
