Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in storage, database, operating system, and cloud technologies.

Position Summary

The Technical Lead provides strategic technical leadership, direction, and delivery oversight for technology solutions within a team or project. This role combines hands‑on expertise with leadership accountability for solution design, system implementation, enterprise alignment, scalability, and security.

Serving as a key partner between business stakeholders and technical teams, the Technical Lead translates business needs into practical, well-architected solutions and guides teams through successful execution. This role includes mentoring team members, promoting engineering quality, resolving complex technical challenges, and supporting the timely delivery of reliable, high-quality solutions.

The Technical Lead also partners across architecture, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to promote alignment with organizational priorities, technology strategy, enterprise governance, and leading practices.

PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity,specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint$140,000 - $189,000. Thefinal decision will be made on a case‑by‑case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Bay Area Min: $ 140,000

Bay Area Max: $ 238,000

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and 1-2 days per week at our Oakland Headquarters based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
