Job summary

Solace Health seeks a Technical Lead to join a fast-growing engineering team in the United States. You will split time between writing production-grade code and mentoring engineers, setting architecture, and guiding delivery of features with strong UX.

You will own major initiatives, drive releases on a CD cadence, and shape engineering standards while balancing hands-on coding with people leadership in a startup environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend and backend development with a track record of shipping high-impact products.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineers—formal or informal.
• Strong React fundamentals and experience with TypeScript/Node.
• Experience in a start-up environment with fast-paced delivery.
• Exceptional communication skills for influencing product direction and stakeholders.

You'll split your time between writing production code yourself and elevating the engineers around you through mentorship, technical guidance, and direct management. You will be expected to move aggressively, commit code regularly, and see your work in the wild with live users—while simultaneously unblocking your team, reviewing their code, and helping them grow.You are a seasoned engineer who can identify problems, architect the highest-quality solutions, and teach others to do the same.
