Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a backend engineer in Charlotte, NC with strong experience in Ruby on Rails and Java/Spring Boot to design and build scalable services. Required Skills

• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, Java and Spring Boot
• Proficiency with AWS services, especially ECS, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager, and RDS, Docker and deploying to ECS (Fargate or EC2)
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, and serialization/deserialization
• Familiarity with queue-based systems and event-driven processing
• Strong understanding of dependency injection, security, and configuration management in Spring
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in leading teams
