Job summary

Tech One IT is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer for Automotive IOC–Ethernet in Novi, MI. You will lead Ethernet communication stack integration, protocol implementation, and ECU-level collaboration across ECUs and domain controllers.

The role requires hands-on automotive Ethernet, TCP/IP, SOME/IP, DoIP, and AUTOSAR experience plus strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with architects, developers, hardware, and validation teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or related field.
• Typically 8–12+ years of automotive embedded software development experience.
• Proven track record in ECU development and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, and troubleshooting of automotive Ethernet/IOC solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Ethernet-based ECU communication.
• Analyse network performance, latency, and reliability; resolve defects.
• Configure Ethernet switches, VLANs, QoS, and DoIP/SOME/IP integration.
• Support AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive architectures and HIL/SIL testing.
• Document results and contribute to design/interface specifications.
