The Judge Group is seeking an exceptional Technical Lead - AI Platform in Charlotte, NC to architect, build, and lead production-scale AI-powered products. This hands-on leadership role focuses on designing end-to-end ML systems, deploying GenAI solutions, and guiding high-performing engineering teams.
You will own data engineering through deployment, monitoring, and optimization, translating emerging AI tech into scalable business outcomes.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science (Master's preferred) required or equivalently qualified.
- 10+ years in software eng, ML eng, or AI development.
- 5+ years leading technical teams or architecture initiatives.
- Proven track record deploying production-grade AI/ML systems at scale.
- Deep ML/MLOps, cloud architecture, and distributed systems expertise.
- Hands-on experience operationalizing LLMs in enterprise environments.
- Experience in privacy, governance, security controls, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Strong communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Lead - AI Platform to architect, build, and lead the development of next-generation AI-powered products. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who thrives on developing production-grade machine learning systems, deploying Generative AI solutions, and leading high-performing engineering teams.
You will own the full AI product lifecycle, from data engineering and model development through deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities and can translate emerging AI technologies into scalable business solutions.

- Design and develop scalable machine learning platforms, including data pipelines, feature stores, training environments, inference services, and monitoring frameworks.
- Architect AI-native applications leveraging foundation models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based workflows embedded directly into customer-facing products.
- Build solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Develop privacy-first AI systems that align with food industry compliance, traceability, and data governance requirements.
- Create explainable AI frameworks that provide transparency, trust, and business validation of model outcomes.
- Design multi-tenant AI architectures that deliver intelligent experiences while maintaining strict data isolation, security, and performance standards.
- Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Apache Beam.
- Train, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Build full-stack AI applications using Python, Java, React, Angular, and cloud-native technologies.
- Implement robust MLOps practices for reproducible training, CI/CD deployment, model governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Build and deploy GenAI solutions including:
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Conversational AI and chat experiences
- Semantic search
- Content summarization
- Question-answering systems
- Synthetic data generation
- Develop AI agents and copilots using LangChain, CrewAI, Vertex AI, and modern LLM frameworks.
- Implement vector-based knowledge systems using FAISS and Pinecone.
- Design multi-agent architectures that automate business workflows across supply chain operations, pricing, forecasting, and traceability processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of AI engineers, machine learning engineers, and software developers.
- Establish architectural standards, engineering best practices, and technology roadmaps.
- Drive technical strategy and innovation across AI initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and Executive Leadership teams to prioritize and deliver impactful AI solutions.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
