We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Engineering and Maintenance Manager at our Manufacturing Facility in Carrollton, TX.

Responsibilities

The Technical Engineering and Maintenance Manager provides strategic and hands‑on leadership for plant technical, maintenance, and engineering functions. The position drives productivity, cost optimization, product quality, and manufacturing reliability through technical innovation, disciplined project execution, proactive asset management, and continuous improvement. This role leads multidisciplinary technical teams, oversees maintenance and reliability programs, manages technical and capital budgets, and partners across Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to strengthen operational performance. The position operates with significant autonomy in technical, resource, and project decisions while building team capability and promoting safe, efficient, reliable manufacturing operations.

Leadership

  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary technical teams supporting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair to sustain reliable production operations.
  • Build team capability by fostering accountability, professional growth, technical development, and employee engagement.
  • Establish standard work, troubleshooting guidance, and reaction plans that strengthen reliability and operational consistency.

Reliability & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives that improve equipment performance, product quality, plant efficiency, and operating costs.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset reliability and minimize operational disruption, through unplanned downtime reduction.
  • Apply root cause analysis, reliability engineering, and structured problem solving to address recurring equipment and process issues.

Project & Budget Management

  • Lead development and capital projects that improve manufacturing capability, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Manage technical budgets for labor, materials, repairs, and capital expenditures while developing spending plans and monitoring performance against targets.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute multiple technical and process improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives and control costs.

Cross‑Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve workflow, resolve operational challenges, and deliver continuous process improvement.
  • Champion safety, environmental stewardship, and compliance across maintenance and engineering activities.

Technology & Equipment

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement equipment, technologies, and automation capabilities that enhance manufacturing performance and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
  • 6+ years of professional and process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership experience managing technical and maintenance teams.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and build individual and team capability.
  • Strong project management, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, reliability engineering, and structured problem solving.
  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and evaluate capital investments.
  • Ability to evaluate equipment and technology investments based on manufacturing capability, reliability, quality, and business performance.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively in a result‑driven manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule as needed and travel occasionally.
