Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Technical Editor, Mid, to review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, and syntax, ensuring logical flow and consistency with agency standards. You will align content with style guides and subject-matter vocabulary, refining graphics and tables and applying correct classification markings per IC guidance.

The role offers opportunities to collaborate with authors, revise narratives, and grow expertise in technical editing within the IC environment,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of national security classification procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and to adjust as priorities change.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in technical editing of finished intelligence products within the IC, or 7+ years of experience in technical editing of finished intelligence products within the IC in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Review intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as logic, clarity, and consistency.
• Ensure style and format conform to agency publication standards and prescribed style guides.
• Amend draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics for content consistency with accompanying text.
• Ensure proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
