Job summary

Icebreaker is actively seeking a Technical Designer for their team based in Stabio, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical pattern engineering and digital product creation, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across design and product development teams.

This role involves translating creative concepts into products, managing project timelines, and ensuring that innovative apparel meets both design intent and technical specifications. Candidates with advanced degrees in relevant fields and proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pattern engineering and digital product creation roles within the apparel industry.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in digital patternmaking and 3D prototyping are advantageous.
• Good level of computer literacy essential; proficient in Microsoft Office & Adobe CC.

Responsibilities

• Create tools to support the execution of the Icebreaker product line through the GTM process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine patterns and troubleshoot fit challenges.
• Manage project timelines for assigned seasonal and non-seasonal products.
