Qualifications

• Degree in apparel manufacturing, product development or apparel design.
• 7+ years of work experience as a Technical Designer.
• In-depth knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction and fit.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and specify samples for construction, quality and design intent.
• Illustrate pattern corrections with Photoshop or Illustrator for overseas vendors.
• Detail comments and communicate corrections to factory reps.
• Lead fit sessions and coordinate with design, PD and purchasing.
• Ensure deadlines are met and notes are communicated clearly.
• Mentor junior designers and manage multiple brand capsules.
