Job summary

Moss Holding Company in Franklin Park, IL, seeks a Technical Designer to turn client concepts into shop-ready drawings using SolidWorks. You will work with Project Managers, Senior Designers and Manufacturing teams to realize designs from concept through CAD implementation for manufacturing.

A background in CAD or related work, strong portfolio, and proven problem solving and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Background in CAD or related work experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating concept development to CAD implementation for manufacturing.
• SolidWorks experience is required.

Job description

The Technical Designer will work closely with Project Managers, Senior Designers and the Manufacturing teams to bring client concepts to reality through shop ready drawings using SolidWorks.

Qualified candidates must have a background in Computer Aided Design or similar work related experience, proven CAD proficiency and portfolio examples showing strong concept development to CAD implementation intended for manufacturing.

Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $25.00

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Design, Architecture or Computer Aided Design preferred
• One to Three years design experience
• Proven CAD proficiency and Portfolio examples showing strong concept development with CAD implementation intended for manufacturing
