Job summary

NTT DATA, based in Atlanta, seeks a Sr. Technical Data Product Owner to oversee data‑driven solutions within a Global Data Engineering and BI team. You will drive requirements, design, testing and delivery, translating business needs into scalable data assets.

You will collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders, lead UAT and production readiness, and guide cloud‑enabled analytics using Snowflake, Databricks or Azure Synapse to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Data Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, Product Ownership or Business Analysis.
• Strong data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT design, and analytics.
• Advanced SQL to analyze complex datasets and validate requirements.
• Experience creating source‑to‑target mappings, business requirements docs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Agile delivery and product backlog management.
• Strong stakeholder management bridging business and technical teams.
• Experience with Power BI and modern analytics platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks or Azure Synapse.
• Experience leading user acceptance testing and production readiness.

Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Technical Data Product Owner

THE ROLE

We seek an experienced and dynamic Sr. Technical Data Product Owner to oversee the requirements, design, testing and delivery of data-related solutions. This role is part of a Global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence (BI) team and drives actionable insights, enhances stakeholder engagement, and fosters a collaborative, high‑performing team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Data and Business Intelligence (BI) and significant experience liaising between Engineering team members and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Create source to target mapping for data integration projects.
• Develop mock‑ups and prototypes to visualize solutions.
• Verify and validate developed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Facilitate hand‑off of solutions to business users and provide necessary training and support.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, addressing challenges, clarifying expectations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure solutions align with project priorities, quality standards, and business needs.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT design, and analytics solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and validate business requirements.
• Experience creating source‑to‑target mappings, business requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams and managing product backlogs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• Experience with Power BI and modern analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting cloud‑based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse.
• Experience leading user acceptance testing, solution validation, and production readiness activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise data modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Experience migrating data warehouses, ETL pipelines, reporting assets, and analytical workloads from on‑premises platforms to cloud platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar cloud‑native data technologies.
• Experience with data quality validation, reconciliation, migration testing, and cutover planning.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, lineage, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working in retail, supply chain, consumer products, or enterprise‑scale analytics environments.

Compensation and Benefits

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $80-$90/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits including participation in medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, and AD&D insurance, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program, and additional voluntary or legally‑required benefits.
