Responsibilities

• Configure the Surefyre platform to meet customer needs using HTML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Build JSON-based forms with the drag-and-drop form builder and edit the JSON schema.
• Write Python scripts to assist in data migrations or configurations for customers.
• Assist in integrations with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Set up Excel-based worksheets to aid in calculations for the Surefyre platform.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to drive product changes for easier configurations.
• Assist the engineering team with advanced configurations and integrations.
• Work with Professional Services to understand customer project needs and changes.
• Reproduce and help resolve configuration issues seen by customers.
• Document all changes made to customer instances.

As a Technical Consultant at Vertafore, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering value to our clients by implementing technical configurations and offering tailored solutions to their business challenges. Working collaboratively across departments such as Customer Support, Account Management, Professional Services, and Product Management, you'll guide clients through their journey with us, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Delving into the technical intricacies of implementations will be your forte, and you'll relish the opportunity to devise innovative tools, processes, and solutions to tackle complex problems head-on. Consultant IIs will further enhance their expertise, applying deep product knowledge to address unique customer scenarios and identify best practices that can drive effectiveness across the board.

Core Responsibilities:

Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

• Configuring the Surefyre platform to meet our customers’ needs through technical configuration using HTML, JavaScript and JSON
• Building JSON based forms using our drag and drop form builder and advanced edits to the JSON schema
• Writing python scripts to assist in data migrations, import, export or advanced configuration for customers
• Assisting in integrations with third party systems using REST and SOAP APIs
• Setting up excel based worksheets to aid in calculations for the Surefyre platform
• Work closely with product & engineering teams to help drive changes to the product to ease configuration tasks
• Work with the engineering team to assist in technical configurations such as advanced integrations
• Work with Professional Services to understand needs of a customer project and changes that are needed to their Surefyre instance
• Reproduce issues customers see with their configuration and help resolve these issues
• Documenting changes that were made to customer instances

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
