Esri’s Professional Services team in Redlands, CA seeks an experienced ArcGIS Enterprise Engineer to design, deploy, migrate, and optimize enterprise GIS environments for mission‑driven customers.

You will work across Windows, Linux, cloud, containers, and security domains, delivering scalable solutions and high availability. Travel up to 25% is required; U.S. citizenship with TS/SCI eligibility is needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience implementing and supporting enterprise GIS systems.
• Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Troubleshooting server-based systems and complex platforms.
• Systematic, best-practice driven approach to design and operations.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• U.S. citizenship with active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, CS, mathematics, GIS, or STEM field.

Combine Enterprise Systems Engineering with Hands On Customer Delivery.

Join Esri's Professional Services team and work directly with mission driven customers to design, deploy, migrate, troubleshoot, and optimize ArcGIS Enterprise environments.

You'll combine hands-on ArcGIS expertise with enterprise IT knowledge across operating systems, cloud, containers, databases, storage, authentication, security, high availability, and disaster recovery. You'll help customers navigate complex technology environments while building scalable and resilient enterprise GIS solutions.

Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Redlands, CA area for this position.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience implementing and supporting enterprise GIS systems
• Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise
• Familiarity with troubleshooting technical issues in server-based systems
• Demonstrated ability to consistently apply a systematic, best practice driven approach to system engineering
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to customers, executives, and technical and non technical audiences
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field

Recommended Qualifications

• Master's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
• Knowledge of or interest in additional ArcGIS technologies
• Practical experience with one or more major cloud providers
• Experience with scripting and/or programming languages such as shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, or similar
• System administration experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Kubernetes platforms
• Knowledge of or interest in networking concepts including HTTP, TCP, TLS, DNS, firewalls, and proxy technologies

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$84,240 — $142,480 USD
