Job summary

Morson Group in Schenectady, NY is seeking a CAD Designer for a 1-year on-site contract. You will create accurate models and drawings using Siemens NX, guided by engineers, ensuring compliance with drafting standards.

Responsibilities include preparing models, handling revisions, and coordinating with the team to meet project timelines. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at $33–$35 per hour (W2 + benefits).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (Technology or Drafting or similar to) plus experience.
• Proficiency in a CAD software.
• Basic understanding of drafting practices and procedures. Example: Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

The CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate and detailed models & drawings using Siemens NX CAD software based on provided instructions, sketches, and layouts. This role involves working closely with engineers and other team members to produce highquality modles & drawings for various projects.
